DESCRIPTION

CRM portal is one part of the concept of development of CRM solution for a company. The realized CRM portal is a web application with the purpose of user requirements administration in period of software maintenance, but also with purpose to supply users with news, documentation, patches etc. On one hand, CRM portal is an interface toward end users. On the other hand, it is an intranet application used by employees to monitor the realization of user requirements by means of a number of authority layers, and to update the remaining information. The system has a built-in workflow that enables the requirements monitoring by different phases depending on the user reaction.

TECHNOLOGIES:

The technology that was used is based on open source solutions i.e. on Java platform and using MySQL database. Within Java platform we used:

• JSP + Servlet-i (user interface)
• Java Beans (business logic)
• JDBC (database access)

We used Jakarta Tomcat application server and MySQL database server.
