In the period between December 5th and 9th TIAC was a host to Mr. Rahul Mohanani. Mr. Mohanani is s doctoral student at the University of Oulu, the department of Information Processing Science and a member of M-Group research group. Area of his research interest is requirements engineering and empirical model of software development. In particular, the focus lies on studying the effects of human cognition biases in software engineering and developing interventions to mitigate the effects of biases to improve the creativity in software engineering processes.
As a part of his research Mr. Mohanani came to TIAC to conduct a set of research experiments with TIAC employees and students from the Faculty of Technical Sciences of Novi Sad. The research took place in TIAC during one week that Mr. Mohanani spent in Novi Sad.
On the final day of his stay, on December 9th, we have organized a TIAC talk session with Mr. Mohanani where he explained the essence of his research and the goals of his experiments. Like on previous TIAC talks, a Q&A session after the presentation grew into a serious discussion on the subject and it was interesting to hear Mr. Mohanani’s views of raised issues and answers to questions asked by other attendees.
We are eager to have Mr. Mohanani return to TIAC in the future and share with us the results of his extensive research.
